Jarrett Roderique of O'Fallon, and Susan Meyer of Chesterfield, announce the birth of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth born Feb 20, 2001 at 5:28 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield. She weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Doug and Marleen Roderique of Saint Mary. Maternal grandparents are William and Teresa Meyer of Chesterfield. Great-grandparents are William and Dolores Meyer of St. Louis.


Jordan Thomas Weiler

Jason and Rachel Weiler, of Ste. Genevieve, announce the birth of their second child, a son, Jordan Thomas, born at 6:50 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2001 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Jordan was welcomed home by his big sister, Allison. Grandparents are Donald and Bernadine Gegg, and Gerald and Georgia Weiler, all of Ste. Genevieve. Great-grandparents are Thomas and Martha Schweiss of New Offenburg, Mrs. Leatha Brown, and Mrs. Mercedes Weiler, both of Ste. Genevieve.

Seth Dylan Adams
David Adams and Jessica Mitchell, of Chester, Ill., announce the birth of their son, Seth Dylan, born Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Memorial Hospital in Chester. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Jackie Mitchell of Neelyville, Mo., and Larry Mitchell of Chester, Ill. Paternal grandparents are Linda and Jesse Adams of Weingarten.

Peyton James Powell
Ronnie and Sheila Powell, of Bloomsdale, announce the birth of their son, Peyton James, born at 5:04 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Barb Mendenhall and Tracy Hutson, both of Ste. Genevieve. Paternal grandmother is Sandy Powell of Bloomsdale.

Julia Marie Barker
Jane and Tom Barker, of Columbia, S.C., announce the birth of their daughter, Julia Marie, born Monday, March 5, 2001. She weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Jean and Jerry Sadler of Ste. Genevieve, and Ann and Lawrence Barker of Huntington, W.V. Great-grandparents are Emmett Hawn of Ste. Genevieve, Margaret Hofstetter of Huntington, W.V., and Dora Barker of Windham, Ohio.

Ruth M. Buatte
Ruth M. Buatte of Ste. Genevieve, formerly of Kaskaskia, Ill., died Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was 84. Funeral services were held Friday, April 20, 10 a.m. at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial was in Valle Spring Cemetery. Basler Funeral Home handled the arrangements. The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Madison E. "Mac" McClenahan
Madison E. "Mac" McClenahan, of Festus, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in Festus. He was 88. Funeral services were held Sat., April 21, 10 a.m. at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, with Rev. Robert Woods officiating. Burial was in Danby Cemetery. Mahn Funeral Home, of Festus, handled the arrangements.

Dorothy Louise Baker
Dorothy Louise Baker, 85, of Harmony Grove, Quachita County, died Saturday, April 21, 2001 in Little Rock. She lived in the Harmony Grove community of Camden for 65 years. Graveside services were held Monday, April 23, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden. Proctor Funeral Home, of Camden, was in charge of arrangements.
